What is Tweetcetera?
Tweetcetera is a new Twitter web application. It is meant to look similar to Twitter web interface, so that you don't need to learn how to use a new website. But we have added some nice features, which we felt were missing from the original product. You won't find any big revolutionary feature but we believe that big changes can come from small differences.
Where does it come from?
My name is Nicolas Alpi, freelance web developer. You can read my blog Notgeeklycorrect , contact me via email at contact@tweetcetera.com and follow me on Twitter where I'm known as @spyou
Why is it different?
We have improved Twitter's web interface on with the following features:
- real-time updates
- nested conversations
- easy reply, retweet and DM
- direct access to your mentions and DMs
- ready-to-use conversation boxes
- easy-to-use URL shortener
Will Tweetcetera save and keep my password
Tweetcetera will NOT store your password simply because we use Twitter Oauth to log you in. In other words, you log into Twitter with your username and password, and then you are redirected to Tweetcetera
Is it possible to suggest new features?
Of course it is! It's even highly recommended. Tweetcetera is still in an early stage of development and we really want it to be user-orientated. If you have any question, comment or bug to report, please use our Getsatisfaction page ,or click on the Feedback button, which is on the left-hand side of your screen. We look forward to hearing from you!
